Waxworks Corporation announced today that Sherwin-Williams has added WalWiz wallpaper tools to their line of stock wallpaper installation tools in over 2000 stores from coast to coast. This new relationship, combined with the tool’s current availability at The Home Depot and Wal-Mart, significantly expands the product’s rapid penetration into the retail market. Impressive early sales since its original rollout demonstrate that the WalWiz has quickly become popular among both do-it-yourselfers and professionals.
The WalWiz was invented by former professional paperhanger Linda Mitchell, who during her years as an installer recognized the need for an easier way to install wallcoverings. As the tool was used in the field, the design was refined and the WalWiz was born. The tool is designed to do the work of three tools replacing standard smoothers, seam rollers and metal trim guides, and it is simple and easy to use. Made with advanced design smoothing edges, trimming tip, and with new neon-clear acrylic, the WalWiz glides over wallcoverings to smooth, set seams, and slides along the cutting edge to guide trims.
