J&M Mold-Proofing Products
J&M Products has secured an exclusive contract to distribute Healthy Walls products, a new line of mold-proofing products designed to reduce or eliminate the growth of toxic mold on wood, cement, masonry, stucco and gypsum. The products have passed a rigorous series of tests conducted by the SGS US Testing Co. Formulated to require only one application, the products for wood and concrete scored a perfect 10 in preventing the growth of three different molds during an incubation period of four weeks. The products are nontoxic and meet strict standards for zero VOCs.
Four companies have signed on to distribute Healthy Walls Products: Seal-Tek, of Bethany Beach, Delaware; EPRO, of Wichita, Kansas; Metro Sealant & Waterproofing, of Newington, Va.; and NV Waterproofing, of Nokesville, Virginia.
Cherokee Homes, a custom home builder in northern Virginia, is now using Healthy Walls Products on all its custom homes. “By adding mold-proofing to our waterproofing process we are adding value to the homebuilding process and peace of mind to the home-buying process,” says Cherokee president Shawn Cody.
