Zinsser acquires WalWorks Corp.
Zinsser Co. Inc., a leading manufacturer of paint primers, wallcovering products, specialty paints and clear finishes, has acquired WalWorks Corp., based in Nashville, Tenn. WalWorks manufactures a line of contemporary wallpaper tools that includes WalWiz Wallpaper Tools, ComfortGrip Wallcovering Shears and others. The WalWiz 3-in-One Wallpaper Tools feature a patented edge design to give users the ability to smooth, seal and set seams and trim wallpaper with one tool. The companyÍs Comfort Grip Shears feature cushioned inserts, a large grip for both male and female hands and adjustable tension to handle all wallcovering and fabrics. WalWorks was founded in 1966 by Linda and Michael Mitchell. Linda Mitchell has joined Zinsser as brand manager for the product line.
