XL Cub from Purdy
The big difference in the XL Cub from Purdy is the shorter, ergonomic hardwood handle for painting in tight spots.

Crafted of solid hardwood, the new handle features an ergonomic thumb grip for superior control. The thumb grip allows the painter to apply extra pressure to hold the brush steady in particularly hard-to-reach areas. A flush ferrule-to-handle fit provides for greater comfort and faster cleanup.

The Cub is handcrafted using Tynex nylon and Orel polyester filaments from DuPont for a brush head full of solid, round, tapered (SRT) satin-edge filaments. The manufacturers proprietary tipping and flagging process creates thousands of microscopic tips from which paint is applied to the painting surface for a virtually perfect finish. XL Cub also features the famous stiffness retention of the XL line, enabling it to retain its body and perform well even in hot or humid conditions.
