Wolverines fan enjoys Purdy surprise
Mark Collinson, owner of Grand-Son Painting & Decorating in Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich., was the delighted winner of a trip for two to the bowl game of his choice, courtesy of Purdy. The Rose Bowl was the obvious choice for the secretary of the Greater Detroit chapter of the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America, as he describes himself as a big Michigan fan.
Collinson got the tickets by winning the painting contractor category of the 2007 Purdy Pigskin Challenge College Football Game. Collinson has owned and operated Grand-Son Painting & Decorating since 1985. His grandfather was a master painter in England before migrating to the United States.
