Pantone paints earn green windmills

Pantone Inc. has announced that all paints and primers in its Eurolux and ECO product lines meet requirements for compliance with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design EQ credit 4.2: low-emitting materials, according to the U.S. Green Building Council.

As a result, designers and consumers can feel comfortable choosing Pantone paints bearing the Green Windmill symbol, knowing that they emit low VOCs and aromatics. The Green Windmill is assigned exclusively to Dutch paint manufacturers exporting LEED-compliant coatings to the United States. Fine Paints of Europe, which provides Pantone Paints, is committed to reducing indoor contaminants as a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.
