PPG Industrial Finishes' Duranar SPF
PPG Industrial Finishes' Duranar SPF was named as one of Architectural Record's Best Products of 2003 in the publication's December issue. The product was reviewed in the Metals, Woods & Plastics category and was the only metal coating recognized.
Duranar SPF is specially formulated using infrared pigments to increase the reflectivity of medium-to-dark colors. Architects can now specify PPG's reflective coatings for metal roofs without sacrificing color choices, while still meeting ENERGY STAR requirements for roof products that reduce the amount of heat absorbed by a structure.
