Darylene Dennon, co-owner of Woodinville, Wash.-based Solid Energy Inc., has become the first woman to be elected president of the 58-year-old Washington State Council, Painting and Decorating Contractors of America. Joining her as officers for 2004-2005 are vice president Marvin Warren of Monty Warren Painting Inc.; treasurer Tim Mjelde of BMP Inc.; secretary Dave Jones of Westcoast Painting LLC; immediate past president Roy Glisson of All Wall Contracting; and associate secretary Rich Gill of Miller Paint Company.
