Rohm and Haas Announces Price Increases

Rohm and Haas Company makers of acrylic emulsions, polymers, resins, and additives for architectural and industrial coatings, and textile and non-wovens industries in North America.

Rohm and Haas Company has announced price increases for acrylic copolymer emulsions, solution polymers, styrene-containing polymers, vinyl-acetate-based polymers, solid-grade resins, and additives sold to the architectural coatings, industrial coatings, construction and building products, and textile and non-wovens industries in North America. The increases range from 8 to 10 percent per wet pound for emulsions and 8 to 10 percent per pound for solid-grade resins.

The increases are needed to offset the sustained rise in costs associated with raw materials and energy as well as new transportation regulations affecting the United States trucking industry.
