Henkel Consumer Adhesives

Henkel Consumer Adhesives' latest innovation, Polyseamseal Tub & Tile Masking Tape, helps produce even, professional-looking caulk beads by eliminating common obstacles such as uneven beads, measuring, and messy application and clean-up.

The tape is an easy-to-use, three-layered tape. To use, the printed top layer is removed to expose a yellow adhesive tape and allow the user to view two optional gap sizes, for either a 1/8-inch or 1/4-inch bead. The yellow layer of tape becomes the guide for caulking. Next, the yellow tape is applied to the wall, flush to the tub surface. The outer release liner is removed and the process is repeated for the tub surface. After removing the liner, a perfectly spaced gap is exposed between the wall and the tub. Now, caulk can be applied and smoothed out. The tape removes cleanly, without residue, and there is no need for time-consuming cleanup.

In addition to tub and tile sealing, the product can be used for a variety of other interior projects, such as caulking windows and baseboards. Polyseamseal is available in a 35-foot roll, sufficient for one tub.
