Titan Tool has come up with an ingenious remote control device that will save wear and tear on both you and your airless paint sprayer. The i-remote works not just on Titan’s own sprayers, but on equipment made by a number of manufacturers.
The i-remote controls the pressure generated by your sprayer from up to 150 feet away. It works by radio frequency, utilizing a hand-held transmitter and a receiver mounted inside the sprayer’s pressure control. Unlike your TV remote, you don’t have to point it at the machine. The i-remote works around corners and through walls, trees and other obstacles.
The remote both turns the sprayer on and off (eliminating “run away” when you run out of paint) and increases or decreases the amount of pressure. When you’re painting indoors, you can keep your sprayer away from overspray by keeping it in another room. When you’re working on a ladder, you don’t have to climb down to lower the pressure when you’re under the eaves or to raise the pressure to reach the top of peaks.
