Hyde's new Wet & Set drywall repair products were developed by contractors who sought an easier, faster, more cost-efficient method of repairing drywall. The first coat of compound is already on the patch. Simply cut the patch to the desired size, dip it in warm water, let the excess water drip off and place the patch over the damaged area. Allow 15 to 39 minutes to dry, apply spackle or compound, let dry, sand and finish as needed.
Wet & Set products can be used for repairs to drywall, plaster, painted wood surfaces, stucco, flat, uneven, or curved surfaces (around pipes), to cover small or large holes, cracks, or imperfections in all walls and ceilings.
Wet & Set items available for immediate shipment include the 5" x 15" Patch and 5" x 9' roll. New items such as Crack Repair Tape and Project Kits will be available soon.
These products are simple to use, allow same day project completion, won't delaminate or shift, and require only one layer of compound.
