Benjamin Moore Matte Finish

Benjamin Moore Stain Release Technology

Benjamin Moore & Co. is introducing Regal Matte Finish with Stain Release Technology, an interior latex paint with a new sheen level (matte) as well as new ceramic technology and proprietary stain release resin. The matte finish is the fifth interior sheen level in Benjamin Moore’s Regal product family, complementing flat, eggshell, pearl and semi-gloss sheens. Regal Matte Finish is a durable, washable, low-sheen enamel that offers superior stain removal properties, ceramic technology that resists absorption, excellent hiding and rapid drying. It offers a scrubbability unlike any other low-sheen enamel products, the manufacturer says.

Benjamin Moore also introduces Waterborne Satin Impervo, a counterpart to alkyd Satin Impervo that delivers end results that emulate the finest oil-based finishes but in a 100% acrylic formula. Waterborne Satin Impervo does not exhibit the yellowing characteristics of alkyd-based products. It has a high hiding finish, which saves time and labor by minimizing the need for multiple coats. By significantly reducing drying time, Waterborne Satin Impervo can be top coated or put back into service in a much shorter time frame compared to other conventional oil-based coatings with similar attributes.
