Sandfast Sanding Tools
Red Devil Inc. has announced Sandfast, a new generation of sanding tools with easy-to-apply adhesive sandpaper, requiring no nuts, bolts or clips.
The abrasive Peel, Stick & Sand System sandpaper can be stored and reused several times. The sandpaper is easy to replace and offers a strong adhesive bond, allowing no movement while sanding. And the sheets do not wrap around a tool. They only sand an intended area, including corners and right angles. Sanding sheets are available in sizes to fit each tool and in grits of 80, 100, 150, 180 and 220.
Tools in the Sandfast line include Sandfast Hand Sander, which has a large, easy-grip handle made of polypropylene and thermo-plastic rubber for working with larger surface areas. For medium surface areas, the Sandfast Palm Sander fits snugly in the palm, with a slightly rounded grip. For hard-to-reach areas, the Sandfast Pole Sander provides access to ceilings and other high surfaces when attached to any standard pole or broom handle.
Finally, Sandfast Detail Sanders are available in twin packs with a triangle and square sanding head. These smaller sanders are perfect for fine detail and hard-to-reach inside corners. With a handle the size of a shaving razor, a Detail Sander will finish off any sanding job. Smaller sheets in square and triangle shapes are sold separately.
