Vista Paint Expands Services into Northern California
The Vista Paint Company is expanding their operations to include Northern California, Nevada and Arizona. With three new stores in the Sacramento region and two more scheduled to open in 2000 the Vista Paint Company is serious about servicing the California market. Founded in 1954 and headquartered in Fullerton (Orange County) California, Vista now has over 45 stores including a modern state of the art 150,000 square foot factory and distribution center.

Widely known for their expertise in manufacturing 100% acrylic enamels such as the CarefreeTM line, Vista also manufactures over 70 types of coatings ranging from interior and exterior flats, semi-gloss and gloss enamels to industrial coatings and elastomerics.

Vista Paint manufactures products that are engineered to withstand the bitter cold and extreme heat that the Sacramento region faces every year. Our products are designed to last year after year eliminating the cost of having to repaint sooner than necessary.

They are proud to have been involved with high profile projects at Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, The Queen Mary, Westin Hotels, Los Angeles County, The City of Los Angeles, The Department of the Navy and the Los Angeles Unified School District to name a few.

Vista Paint is known in the international market as well, with distribution in Guam, China and Korea. In addition to manufacturing their own products, Vista also distributes industrial coatings such as Carboline and Rust-Oleum. Likewise, Vista distributes Aqua-Fleck, Olympic, Polymix, Lily Lacquers and Simpson Coatings.

Vista Paint is an easy choice for their customers. They do this by being first in the market place with innovative products such as Weather-Master elastomeric and focusing on customer service as job one.

Paint America National Coating Alliance Launched
Top Regional Paint Manufacturers Come Together To Service and Supply National Builder Accounts
Three leading regional paint manufacturers announced today the introduction of Paint America, a unique alliance formed to supply national and multi-regional homebuilders with premium, cost effective coatings solutions. The alliance consists of M. A. B. Paints in the East, Diamond Vogel Paints in the central States and Kelly-Moore Paint Company in the West. The companies’ combined resources will include 11 manufacturing plants and 450 stores with complete national lines of architectural, commercial, and industrial paints and coatings. Paint America will be serviced by the companies’ combined network of more than 1000 field sales and service representatives.

The alliance offers large homebuilders, for the first time, a cost-efficient national paint resource with regionally-preferred formulas and superior local service. Paint America combines top quality products with national account pricing, field and laboratory technical support, flexible ordering and billing, and consolidated reporting. The alliance will also focus its efforts on property management, chain retail, hospitality, health care and selected industrial segments.

“The Paint America alliance brings the best of both worlds to national home builders,” said Joseph P. Cristiano, President and CEO of the Kelly-Moore Paint Company. “ Now customers with specific coating needs will have a way to use the best local company for the job while taking advantage of the convenience and cost effectiveness of centralized billing, ordering, payment and reporting.”

Paint America will offer its unique “American Homes” program of products and services tailored to the needs of the large, multi-regional home builder.

Paint America will be managed by a core team of executives from each of the participating companies. This leadership team has worked together in 1999 to develop, test and refine Paint America programs, services and systems. Paint America customers are serviced by teams led by a national account manager and supported by field technicians and customer service personnel based in regional Paint America offices.
