PlateAll Metal Coating Turns Plastic Into “Real” Metal

PlateAll Metal Coating Applicator Ron Randal transforms a plastic mailbox into a copper work of art with this unique metal coating process! In his own successful Metal Coating business, ñMetal Morphous,î in Connecticut, Ron applies PlateAll to auto body parts (even under the hood), window frames, doors, cabinets, mouldings, commercial signs, and more. Ron is bursting with innovative ways to use PlateAll in his work.

PlateAll Metal Coating is a combination of a specialized resin adhesive mixed with a composite metal powder and a catalyst. When the mixture is put into a conventional HVLP spraygun, it may be cold sprayed onto most any substrate, creating a seamless metal surface of aluminum, brass, bronze, chrome, copper, iron, nickel silver, or stainless steel. PlateAll's process can be accomplished with ease and creates a permanent bond with the substrate when properly prepared for adhesion. Use PlateAll on architectural elements such as archways, crown moldings, columns, or mantels. Also, metal, wood, fiberglass, foam, and earthenware are popular substrates for displaying PlateAll's ïreal metal' coating. Create a magnificent bronze or nickel-silver garden sculpture or fountain. You are only limited by your imagination.
