Rohm and Haas China Project
Rohm and Haas Co. has broken ground on a new China Research and Development Center in Shanghai. It is expected to open mid-2006.
Located on more than 8 acres, the Center will serve as the company’s primary research and technical service headquarters for China and the Asia-Pacific region. It will include a four-story research facility and a four-story administration building and employ an initial staff of about 350 researchers, technical service personnel, commercial and sales professionals and functional staff. The facility marks the company’s commitment to serving a rapidly growing customer base in the Asia-Pacific region and increasing its presence and product offerings in China.
Rohm and Haas operates more than 30 technical centers around the world, with research headquarters located in Spring House, Penn.
