Walla Walla Environmental Inc. has launched CPF-2D, a new insecticide additive for exterior paints that provides long-term insecticide protection. The product can be added to paint, latex and solvent-based stains, preservatives and clear sealants at the time of purchase.
Nicknamed “bug juice” because insects literally “drink” it into their nervous systems through the sticky membranes on their feet, CPF-2D continually kills bugs for the life of the coating. Because dust build-up can create a barrier between the bugs’ feet and the insecticide, Walla Walla recommends rinsing the coated surface once a year with water.
