The increase of 6.0 cents per wet pound for list and off-list
products affected acrylic emulsions, styrene-containing polymers,
additives and colorants.
The company cited growing raw material
and energy expenses, as well as the cost of health
insurance, security, and regulatory compliance, to explain the
increases.
Rohm and Haas is a worldwide producer of specialty materials with company sales in 2004 of approximately $7 billion.
