Purdy Pro-Extra Series Paint Brushes

Designed to specifically meet the needs of professional painters, Purdy's Pro-Extra Series has expanded to include three new paintbrush models.

Pro-Extra models feature extra-thick, extra-long filaments, for a brush that holds a lot of paint and lasts longer. Pro-Extra is the only triple-component DuPont filament blend on the market: The Tynex nylon provides softness and ease of paint flow, the Orel polyester delivers stiffness retention, and the Chinex ensures fast clean-up.

The new Purdy Pro-Extra Series models are the Monarch, Pip and Moose product lines.

The Monarch is a beavertail-handle, 3/4 inch-thick brush with round-edge ferrule that is available in widths widths. The Monarch has been a best-seller in the United Kingdom, where it is often used with heavy-bodied paints, and Purdy is rolling it out in the United States.

The Pip brush is a beavertail-handle brush with semi-oval ferrule that is 3 inches wide and1 1/8-inches thick. The Moose features a shasta-handle brush, a round-edge ferrule and a 3 1/8-inch-wide brush with a thickness of 13/16-inch.

These three join existing Pro-Extra Series models in the Dale, Elasco, Glide, Sprig, and Swan product lines.
