Coronado Paint Co. Tough-Tex Acrylic Knock Down Finish
Coronado Paint Company has recently introduced “Tough-Tex Acrylic Knock Down Finish”, a 100% acrylic textured coating which dries to an extremely hard, durable and mildew resistant finish. Tough-Tex is available in a flat and satin finish. Designed to be applied by sprayer and “knocked down” with a Lexan knife, Tough-Tex will bridge small cracks, dents and other imperfections in walls. Its mildew resistant properties make it a cost effective alternative to vinyl wallcovering.
Tough-Tex is far superior to and should never be confused with inexpensive texture paints or “home brewed” concoctions of joint cement and latex paint. These products tend to crack, sometimes failing totally, and certainly do not wear well. Tough-Tex will withstand repeated scrubbing even with heavy detergents.
Typical applications for Tough-Tex would be on walls in hotels, motels, offices, apartments, condominiums, stores and residential and commercial restoration projects.
