Devoe Coatings NSF Certified Epoxy Coating
New Devran 232 Heavy Duty Epoxy Coating from ICI Devoe Coatings has been tested and certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for use in potable water immersion service.
This certification allows Devran 232, a high-performance, two-component polyamide epoxy coating, to be specified and used in areas subject to contact with potable water sources including water processing facilities, storage tanks and piping. Excellent corrosion and water resistance make Devran 232 an ideal choice for harsh environments, including salt water.
This new high-build/high-solids coating is self-priming on masonry and steel surfaces, providing users with one coating system for many applications. It compliments Devoe’s other NSF certified materials, including Bar-Rust 233H and 133. While Bar-rust 233 and 133 offer low-temperature curing and a higher solids content, Devran 232 delivers performance at lower costs on jobs where cold weather is not a factor, making it ideal for use in the water market during the warmer summer months or in warmer regions that do not weather cold winter temperatures.
Devran 232 comes in 3 NSF certified colors: buff, white and pastel red. All can be specified for potable water applications. The NSF certification prohibits tinting of these materials; therefore do not tint Devran 232.
